Fun on Purpose is an interactive workshop designed to engage a cross-section of your employee population: leaders, managers, HR professionals, staff, and administrators. The workshop leverages the fun dept’s 20 years of experience designing and developing activities aligned with their clients people and culture.
Co-create opportunities to use fun as a mechanism to further engage your organization and your people. The Workshop details the fun dept’s research-based science model while offering a creative outlet—your very own Creative Inventory—self-generated ideas for fun at work that align with your team and culture.
The workshop presents collaboration among all participants. The program offers an opportunity for creative thinking and team building. Each organization will leave with its very own “Creative Inventory” of ideas, activities, and a strategic action plan for the Inventory to engage, recognize, or entertain people in their organization(s) — both professionally and personally.
Agenda: The fun dept. Workshop supports three Modules, each 30-60 minutes, with specific Learning Objectives
Professional Outcomes:
* The workshop has been approved for SHRM and HRCI continuing education credits.
The fun dept. recently hosted a team building event for the Biologics Discovery Department within Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine, attended by approximately 150 employees. Nick Gianoulis, Chris Bruce and the fun dept. staff lead a series of events including a workshop group pitch, physical challenges / games and interactive trivia that were fun and engaging for the entire group. Such team building events can break down silos and keep employees healthy, happy, and committed to a common mission – in our case, bringing hope and new therapeutics to our patients. Thanks again to the fun dept!
The fun dept. delivers with their Fun On Purpose workshop. Our team was engaged from start to finish and walked away with 8 activities created by our teams using the fun dept.’s practiced based model and methodology. The Shared Experience and Play Personality were particularly insightful and helpful in the process. The workshop culminated with a pitch competition that was not only highly entertaining but practical as our teams took pride and ownership in developing their values based activities. The fun dept. helped to make our annual off site the best ever while providing actionable takeaways for sustainable fun in the year ahead
This workshop inspired people to think about work in a totally different way. It helped people see value in fun at work and challenged our team to think about how to do so. The fun dept. is really onto something that has revolutionized our organization.
